Ολοκληρώθηκε το Σαββατοκύριακο (18-19/4/2026) ο έκτος αγώνας Lefkara Country Run and Vertical Challenge, ένα μοναδικό διήμερο γεμάτο τρέξιμο και μια ξεχωριστή δρομική εμπειρία για όλη την Κύπρο.
Συνολικά, 450 αθλητές από την Κύπρο και το εξωτερικό συμμετείχαν στις τρεις διαδρομές του αγώνα. Το Σάββατο διεξήχθη το Vertical Challenge και την Κυριακή οι αγώνες των 13 και 23 χιλιομέτρων.
Το διήμερο δρομικό φεστιβάλ ξεκίνησε το απόγευμα του Σαββάτου με έναν ιδιαίτερα απαιτητικό αγώνα, καθώς, παρά τη σχετικά μικρή απόσταση (4 χιλιομέτρων), παρουσίαζε συνολική θετική υψομετρική διαφορά 450 μέτρων.
Νικητής στο Vertical Challenge για τρίτη φορά αναδείχθηκε ο Φύτος Λεμονάρης, με χρόνο 00:21:34. Στις γυναίκες, πρώτη τερμάτισε η Αναστασία Παπαβασιλάκη με χρόνο 00:28:46.

Την Κυριακή 19/4 πραγματοποιήθηκαν οι αγώνες Country Run 13 και 23 χιλιομέτρων.
Στον αγώνα των 13 χιλιομέτρων νικητής αναδείχθηκε ο Ενίς Aicici με χρόνο 00:59:58. Στις γυναίκες, πρώτη τερμάτισε η τρίτη νικήτρια του Vertical Challenge, Inina Bevzik με χρόνο 01:11:13.
Στον αγώνα των 23 χιλιομέτρων, πετυχαίνοντας νέο ρεκόρ διαδρομής 1:39:09, νικητής ήταν ο Γιώργος Τροφή. Στις γυναίκες, πρώτη τερμάτισε η Znezhana Belliaeva με χρόνο 02:06:26.

The 6th Lefkara Country Run and Vertical Challenge was successfully completed over the weekend (April 18–19, 2026), offering a unique two-day running event and an exceptional racing experience across Cyprus.
A total of 450 athletes from Cyprus and abroad participated in the three race routes. The Vertical Challenge took place on Saturday, while the 13 km and 23 km races were held on Sunday.
The two-day running festival began on Saturday afternoon with a particularly demanding race, as despite its relatively short distance (4 km), it featured a total elevation gain of 450 meters.
Fytos Lemonaris claimed victory in the Vertical Challenge for the third time, finishing in 00:21:34. In the women’s category, Anastasia Papavasilaki secured first place with a time of 00:28:46.

On Sunday, April 19, the Country Run 13 km and 23 km races took place.
In the 13 km race, Enis Aicici finished first with a time of 00:59:58. In the women’s race, the third-place finisher of the Vertical Challenge Inina Bevzik secured first place with a time of 01:11:13.
In the 23 km race, Giorgos Trofi achieved a new course record (1:39:09) to claim victory. In the women’s category, Znezhana Belliaeva finished first with a time of 02:06:26.
